What you get
One record per licensed business: business_name, license_number, credential (New Car Dealer, Used Car Dealer, Wholesale Dealer, Repair Shop, Public Inspection Station, Dismantler and the rest — New York's codes are decoded), city / zip_code / county, issue_date and expiration_date in MM/DD/YYYY, expires_in_days, and status. Washington adds phone and bond status; New York adds the owner name and last renewal date.
New York and Connecticut publish an expiration date but no status word, so status there is computed from the expiry and every record says so in status_basis. Washington publishes a real status column, kept as the state's own word.
